I dont use it. if I do the posi slips. I run basica autozone brand gear lube and the posi works now. I know its shot but it works good.
From what I've seen, it seems most people suggest not using the posi additive if you run synthetic lube, but use it if you run non-synthetic. I'll still experimenting with mine (just swapped it in), so I'm undecided.

For the Australian build posi 9 bolt you don't need any additive
because the 9 bolt don't have frictionnal clutch in it !
it's a cone clutch rear end..., if your hard on your 9 bolt put in
synthetic gear lube.

I never use any additive with my nine bolts. It would be a waste of money the cone type differential does not need it. Matter of fact I run 85w –140-dyno-juice oil since my current posi is weak. Helps it out a lot
