700r4 TC lockup w/o ALDL connection

I did a TPI to carb. swap on a 1986 IROC. I pulled out all wiring and ecm. How can I lock-up the Torque converter by using only the wires that are coming out of the trans. and not going thru the ALDL connector. Thanks for any info that someone can give me. Rob G.

Thanks for your response. But are pin A and pin D in the ALDL or is the connecter at the trans marked with these letters. I cant use the ALDL connecter. Rob G.

On the transmission. If you'd just unplugged the ECM and left the wiring under the dash intact you'd still be able to use the ALDL.

Apeiron, I totally agree with you. When I got this car, the wiring was a total mess. The 3 wires from the trans were already cut. I just need to know which wire from the trans I need to put 12 volts to and which one to ground. Any help from anybody would be great. Thanks Rob G.
