trans and coolant

would a improper mix of coolant cause a trans to overheat. theres like 80water/20coolant mix.shifts early and really soft after like 10min of city driving. you can feel the heat coming through the center console.

Is your engine overheating?

Make sure your fluid levels are correct, check that the cooling lines are not kinked/bent. If possible verify the flow of the tranns fluid.

Check the lines from the tranny to the radiator. Make sure those arent kinked or blocked.
