I'm leaking a tiny bit of tranny fluid...
I just pulled my tranny during an engine swap and I noticed the bottom is always covered in tranny fluid. I plan on changing the gasket, but should I do anything else while I'm in/under there? Upgrade and cheap/easy parts, etc.

Change the fillter, make sure your pan isn't bent, and maybe install a new mount since your there. I've also been thinking about tapping a hole for a temp gauge, and it would be the perfect time to do it even if you don't install one right now.

I started using a polishedcast aluminum pan on some of my builds. It is an offshore pan but seems to be great quality. Built in drain plug, polished aluminun, rubber gasket and stainless bolt. The pan is rigid and the raids are nice and flat. They cost about $60 and make a nice addition.
