I hope the moderators let this slide even though it isn't a tech post. I did a search and didn't find what I was looking for.

I have a friend that wants to buy the t5 setup from my 84 bird that I am parting out. From the pedals to the shifter. It isn't a world class but it has been rebuilt with about 40k on it. I have both intenal and extenal balanced flywheels.

What is this worth? Or better yet what would someone pay for it.

He will be removing everything.

I told him he could get the t5 setup , the rear disc setup including master cylinder and proportioning valve for $300 if he removed them. Well as soon as I mentioned money he backed out. I guess he thought it was free. He isn't that much of a friend.(known him 3 months)
