TKO reverse switch connector or pigtail part#
I'm looking for the correct connector for the reverse light switch on my tremec TKO trans. Fortes and Hanlon have been unable to help me, and the mickey mouse one I made falls off after awhile. I've attached a pic of what the switch looks like on the trans.
Edit-crawled under the car and took a better pix.
Thanks!!

My Tremec dealer swapped mine out for me, he used one from Carquest that had two male blade terminals. It's a very common truck switch.

Thanks for the help. I scored a backup light connector out of a late 80's 4-cyl mustang at the junkyard, but I think they're all the same. After hunting around for it, wiring it in, etc. turns out that the switch is bad. I ended up getting a GM one, part# 14014559. It is the stock switch for an 83-84 5-speed f-body, and takes a standard 2 pin weatherpack. I also found a part# for the switch that comes with the trans from tremec, Standard part# LS316.
Here's a pic of the ford connector:

The AC Delco pigtail connector for the 14014559 switch is pn PT107 or GM 12085485. That switch is used in most all truck manual trans up to '02.

good info. next question is where can I find the wiring to the chassis for the reverse lights?? I pulled a TPI harness out of this car, I'm not sure which connector would have gone to the reverse switch - and I don't have any extra connectors hanging down there

Did you pull the engine harness or more than that? My car was an auto, and the back-up wiring was part of the body/dash wiring, of which I found the right 2 wires and tapped the aformentioned switch into.

hmmm... I only have 2 wires left in the body harness that I don't know what they are. one is blue, the other is brown with a stripe (white stripe maybe? don't remember)
where did you find the wires - as part of the harness coming through the firewall behind the brake booster?

The wires for an auto-car are in the center console and part of the big harness that plugs into the shifter.
