tranny, gears, tire sizes
Just thinking about what I could contribute to this site......awhile back I built a .xls spreadsheet, with adjustable rpm increments, gear ratios, axle ratios and tire sizes, to give you ideas on speed changes and driveline rpms. Only problem is I am not sure how to make it accessable for anyone other than sending IM or email. Anyways let me know if any interest, and I'll send it.

I personally think it is better because it gives you all rpms for each gear in a chart, actually two charts so you can compare different components, maybe look at theoretical shift points, decide you want to cruise at certain rpms in different gears, see it all at once.
