3rd to 4th Flare up

Tranny has about 150 miles on it. It was built for our new motor with an ATI. First gear is perfect and so is 2nd and 3rd. If you keep it in Overdrive It goes into 4th perfect, but if you shift it from D into OD like on the highway it flares up for a sec. TV cable is adjusted perfectly. Any ideas?

I dunno I'm going to call tomorrow. I got it built from a very popular Trans Guy with the GN people. I'll see what he has to say

The 700 uses a selective length pin to set up servo clearance. The tool used to check it is $400. My local shops do not own one and simply "feel" the movement and give it their stamp of approval. I check each and every one I do. The tool does not lie. It is a go-no go guage. If you really want to know if it is correct, take it to a dealer and ask them to check the pin clearance. It is a 5 minute job with the correct tool. If it is wrong, you will know it for sure.

Well after drive the 150 miles and having it flair up. I went out yesterday and checked and the fluid was right below add. I put it up to FULL and now its fine. Do you really think the 1/2 quart of ATF did anything or is it in my mind?
