I want to buy a GMPP 350 HO well this motor tear up my 700r4 and rare end? 1985 Z-28 with a Lg4?

 

the 700r4 been shifting kinda hard just had it rebulit about a year ago why would it being doing that?

 

You might consider a search, but I think many members are running 700R4's behind heavily modded engines.

didnt work for me. got the zz1 motor, drove it like a grandma, at least when i had it, and the tranny died with 75k on the clock, 20k with the new motor (350hp/385tq as tested). still tryin to do something about it now.

 

i did the same thing... 350HO and 700r4. short on cash put the b&m shift improver kit in w/ the crate motor. tranny would turn the tires over from 1-2 on quarter throttle.

nowadays its doing ok, but i don't think its as happy as it used to be. i don't do crazy burn outs very often at all, but i like to juice it from a roll.
