Have been looking for 2 days now....and the more info I see, the more confused i get!!

I have 1991 Z-28 stock rear, with 2.73 posi, so what I have figured out is that I need a 2-Series carrier that is10-Bolt Ring and Pinion with Install Kit.

I an getting lost with teeth and spline numbers, so quite simply, spend my money, what do I order on Jegs or Summit to have a complete install kit??

nothing from what you said, you have a ring and pinion, posi carreir and an install kit. what else do you think you need? you already have a 2 series carrier posi carrier so unless it's broke i wouldn't get another. if it is broke then get another like you have. what are you wanting to do, or what do you think you need to do?

edit: i'd get a solid spacer instead of a crush sleeve

Well i was looking at this from Jegs, a GM 7.5'' 10-Bolt Ring and Pinion Packages 3.73 Ratio with 41-11 Teeth, 3.125'' Head Bearing 1.438'' Diameter, 27-Spline Pinion, 7.5'' Diameter Ring Gear. It also comes with a Richmond Gear complete installation kit, two quarts of Red Line 80W140 differential lube and a 4oz. bottle of Jeg's own limited slip additive. Each installation kit includes pinion and carrier bearings, pinion and carrier shims, pinion nut, crush sleeve, pinion seal, cover gasket, gasket sealer, ring gear bolts, thread locker sealant, marking compound and fits Fits 3.08 and numerically lower (2-Series) carrier.

It is item 555-60010K on jegs, just wanted to know if this the correct one to order, or is there a different one that I should get?

or is it just as simple as ordering on Jegs item 836-49-0007-1K , Richmond Ring & Pinion Packages GM 10-Bolt 3.73, 7.5" 2-Series, Richmond complete installation kit; 2 quart bottles of Richmond limited slip lube; a tube of Mr. Gasket sealer; a tube of thread locker; and one container of marking compound??
