Still drives in Neutral???
Ok, this is kinda wierd. Say I'm rolling through a parkinglot (8-10mph) and I pop it up to neutral to throw a rev at sombody. Ok, when I do this, it revs normally but I can feel it pulling alittle, like the car surges forward, only slightly. I've done it at slower speeds, and the pull is more prominent. Is this somthing simple as the linkage not going the full travel, or is it somthing in the torque convertor? Or other tans internals? The car is a 92 RS with a 3.1 V6 with 127,000 miles on it.
Thanks alot,
Max

in my experience at least, if you have a car up on a lift or stands etc. and put it in neutral it will turn the tires like its in a gear. thats not all cars ive seen though just most but ive never seen one that you could fell pulling while on the ground. ????

Well, it dosent really pull hard, and it dosent do it constantly, or all the time. Like I said above, if I were to slip it into neutral and gun it, it would pull only SLIGHTLY for just a seccond, then it wont do it again.
Just confusing
