Heres the Problem...

85' Camaro MPFI 2.8 V6-700R4 trans..I think?


Last nite I decided to drive around a few streets basically 10-15 mph city streets, after doing this for about 20 mins, i drive to the gas station and car just sounded wierd...i drive some more just figuring its me... and car starts making a "clanging" noise from underneath, then i took it home and got underneath the car and I think the clanging noise is coming from the trans...i feel the pan and its almost like somethin knocking against it..not sure though...took it out around the block and it had problems shifting, like sticking first to 4th gear, then it was from 1st to 2nd, then it even didnt want to shift into first ...then it did..what Im getting at the transmission seems to have all the gears there...and it just started this out of the blue...Any ideas on what could be wrong ?
