U Joint Bolt Torque

I have an '87 IROC-Z with the 7.625 10-bolt rear and stock driveshaft. What is the proper torque for the bolts that retain the rear u-joint on the pinion yoke?

Thanks. -Neil

ive always tightened them by hand with a wrench.

good and tight is the only spec you need.... obviously dont overtighten it a stupid amount, but its not a critical torque spec.

Thanks. It came off and went back on wrench-tight.

18-20 ftlbs. Any more & you can distort the caps. Make sure you use a locking nut or lock washer. My brother in-law chucked a drive shaft out of his race car by not doing this.
