Swapping rears from one 3rd gen to another

I recently came across a Firebird Formula parts car, it has the Posi rear with 3.27 gears and disc brakes. I want to swap into my 92 Camaro RS that has the limited slip drum brake rear.

My question is it a direct swap? Will I be able to hook up my E brake properly and will I need any other parts?

I do realize my speedo wont work right anymore, any info on what I will need to set that up correctly?

Thanks in advance...

1 thing your gonna need the brake booster setup or possibally a proportioning valve. The rear drums on your now take alot less brake pressure to apply than rear disks. When you hit your brakes you wont feel like you have any rear braking.

You will be fine. There are people who run LS1 rear brakes (larger than any 3rd gen brake offered) without any proportioning changes. The few 3rd gen cars that I have driven with drum to disk conversions (4th gen rears minus any proportioning) felt normal and had equal braking capability.
