Transmission: 200-4R
87 Camaro gears
Sorry the search is down. Any idea what gears usually came stock in a 87 V6 5sp Camaro? The rpo codes are long gone. I have heard it's 3.43's for the 5sp V6 and 3.23 for the Auto V6, sound right?

Engine: 588 Alcohol BBC
Transmission: Powerglide
Axle/Gears: Ford 9"/31 spline spool/4.86
All V6 cars in 1987 with manual transmissions have 3.42 gears including the 2.8L with an automatic. The V6 cars in 87 with the 3.1L engine and an automatic transmission have 3.23 gears.
