trans cooler install

Im replacing my radiator with one without an internal trans cooler and I have a simple question about the install.

The cooler didnt have any instructions but looks rather straight foward.

Do I just cut the metal lines and take the fittings off then use the supplied lines to attach the cooler and hose clamp those on? Or will the fittings slide back the line to where I wont have to cut them?

Any specific kind of clamps I should use in this application?

i wouldn't cut anything, the flares will help with the seal on the soft lines.
