Wow that is a nice looking 9bolt. I've been looking for them but eveyone of them looks like they are painted in rust. Great find. And it's ok if your wife doesnt understand. Her getting excited about a 9bolt is like you getting excited about her new pair of shoes
.
.Hey guys...
just got it in and it works great. The only problem i had was the cables were burnt at the ends so i had to use my old ones. I was going to change the fluid but its was clear so i left it. The pads were still good and looked like OEM. No leaks and the gears a smooth and quite. I wonder if it would hold up to some sticky tires? I would like to finaly get this thing to the track with some good tires. All it does is spin.
The PBRs are much better then the older iron calipers. They had problems adjusting as the pads wore. And the rotors were a smaller diameter.
Was 89 the only year for the 9 bolt with the PBRs? I know the 10 bolts had them up thru 92. I think they stop using the 9 bolts in 89? Didnt they use the 9 Bolt from 85 to 89?

He was asking about the pbr brakes, not the rear end.Originally Posted by Jetmeck
