HSR with 700r4

HSR with 700r4
i just installed a holley stealth ram with a nitrous plate and now my TV cable has to stretch really really far to fit the t.b. (like all the way adjusted out) any one esle have this problem?

what did you start with for induction?
the TV cable comes in three different lengths. the Carb. the TBI, and the TPI all have diffent length TV cables.

i started out with tpi but i used the TV cable that came with my hughes performance tranny, maybe i should get a new cable from GM?

you may need to do that.. get one that you know is indeed long enough for the stealth ram.. the TPI one is the longest one... probably the one you would need i think

From what your saying the length of your TV cable isn't the problem, it's the adjustment and this HAS to be correct. Did you get the throttle linkage extension with your nitrous plate? If not you MUST have it, it's part number 1700NOS from NOS. I ordered mine from Auto Zone, it was like 20 bucks.

I found the part number in the instruction manual from my NOS 5050 kit and called Auto Zone, after haggling with them a bit they finally found it and 3 days later I had it complete with bolts and all. Good luck with it man.
