t.c.c. lock up switch problem

t.c.c. lock up switch problem

well i installed the switch in like the tech article said..... come to find out that all its good for that way is blowing fuses cause its creating a direct short to ground well i looked at the wireing diagram and i connected it directly to the t.c.c. pin at the ecm but yet again to my supprise the fuse blew but not right away....... any one have this problem???? someone knows how to fix it or wire it up correctly??? thanks this is greatly appreciated

The tech article doesn't describe a direct short to ground. The TCC solenoid always has +12v to one side through the brake switch, the ECM grounds the other side to lock the TCC. Shorting the TCC test pin on the ALDL to ground accomplishes the same thing. If you're blowing fuses, you're doing something wrong, or you have bad wiring.

i fallowed the insructions to the t but i put the key to the on position and as soon as i fliped the switch the fuse poped
