Quick question on T5 swap.

The 700 r4 has a four prong plug on the side, its green with a single wire going to it from the main wiring harness. Is this the wire for the reverse lights?

Probably so...

A T-5 car has a plug with 2 wires; one green, one dark blue.

No - auto trans reverse lights are wired through the switch in the shifter. The plug on the trans is for torque converter control.
