Trans temp gauge questions
I did a search but still have a couple of questions about the sending unit and install locations. I read in the posts about installing the sender in place of one of the case plugs. Does anyone here have a pic of such an install? And second, in the pan installs seem to be one of the preferred methods so where in the pan is the best location that won't interfere with the valve body and provide adequate ground clearance? Pics of that install would be appreciated as well.

I have a powerglide. On the backside of the pan towards the passenger side, I drilled a hole and installed the sending unit. There's enough room there in the powerglide that it doesn't touch the valve body or anything else.
