T56 Swap
Im in the beggining stages of installing a T56 off a 96 Camaro into my 88 GTA, I removed the brake and accelerator cable to give the pedals a test fit, I found that the top 2 holes of the pedal assembly were smaller than the studs on the Brake Master So I honed out the hole and I was able to get in but the front of the pedal assembly where theres a bolt that holds it in place doesnt come close to ligning up with the hole, also the accelerator bracket does not sit flush with the fire wall, Also does anyone have any pics as to where I should be mounting the slave and the master cylinder, I purchased a new slave & master Kit from Gm thinking it would be easier..Please Help...

Not sure about the pedals, since when I did the T-56 thing to my own car, I re-used my 3rd gen pedals (T-5 car); but a far as the cyl location, it's not real critical. Basically you want it right directly in front of the pedal, but there's at least ¼" of tolerance in where it needs to be.
Use the gasket that comes with it, as a template.

Thanks for the tips, but as far as the accelerator pedal can I use a universal throttle cable to mount to a holley 750? Or is there another route to go?

Don't do all that extra work. What a waste.
Just use your 3rd gen gas pedal bracket; and cut that part of the 4th gen bracket off.

- 3rd gen gas pedal and stock cable with Holley carb here. Well, actually it a TBI cable, as the TPI cable was long(plus 89+ has the progressive cable set-up) and I didn't want to have it all wrapped around looking like crap. Just use Holley's GM cable bracket and there's no adjustment needed, just a bolt to hook the cable on.
- AS for the clutch pedal assembly, if it mounted securely at the top and you can mount the master(as stated, not crucial), then just drill the other holes and bolt up.

I removed a accelerator pedal from a 1988 Camaro TBI, I removed the pedal & bracket and the cable, do i need to use the bracket? I also cant line up the front of the pedal assyembly to the hole to bolt it down, Has anyone encountered this problem?
