Problem,Tranny or converter?
I am starting to have a wierd problem with my tranny. While cruising up hill with light throttle I notice that the car seems to stumble but it feels more like the tranny. Not really a stumble but like a slip. The rpm's raise about 1-200 rpm for a split second then drops back down and when I give it more gas it's fine.I am getting a shake in the engine at about 1,500-2,300 rpms and I think it's the torque converter.Would a bad torque converter give that "slip" porblem? When other trannies have gone out on me it's a really noticable slip but this one you have to be paying attention too to feel. The tranny is full and works flawless everyother time.

Yeah it almost feels like it's lock and unlocking constantly. If I give it more gas or if I let off it stops.

bridge the termanals on your ALDL to lock the tourque converter (a and g i think, the two top outside ones) and try and re-create the problem. if it no longer happens it is your TC unlocking and locking.
