new 700 with 3200 stall...which trans cooler and where to put the temp sender?

well after alot of phone calls to transgo, it turns out the original 700 has an internal pressure leak after 150 psi...so new trans time. i just put a 3200 9" stall converter in and when i get the new trans, i would like to be able to cool it properly. what trans cooler should i run and where does the transmission temp sender mount to the 700r4?
thank you again

i would think u need to drill a hole in the pan for the temp sendor/sensor/gauge setup.

anyway i am having great results with the - B&m super cooler 24,000 GVW, got it from jegs i believe.

I'd prolly put it on the passenger side, "should" be the best location, away from the shift linkage, inspection cover, and tranny mount.

I need to tap my tranny pan too! I've got the gauge all hooked up, just need to install the sensor...

Maybe I'll do that one of these days...

Put it anywhere in the pan where it will clear the valvebody and guts inside. Mine is on the driver side.

Drivers side, about 3" from rear, slightly below center vertical.

Also the B&M 70264 works ok on mine
