Where can I find internal transmission parts?
I just pulled the t-5 out of my 88 TransAm. I need a new 5th gear w/ a snap ring and the retaining clip for the speedo gear, but I've been unsuccessful looking on the internet or other places.
Does anyone know any websites that sell these things?

Axle/Gears: 3.73; 3.42
See if the dealer still has the listing for the parts and get the part numbers. You might get lucky and still be able to get them from GM Parts Direct: Your direct source for Genuine GM Parts. If not, check Rockland Standard Gear - OEM Quality Part - New and Rebuilt Transmissions. They specialize in 6-speeds but might be able to point you in the right direction.
