changing tranny in 86 camaro z28

i want to change my tranny from auto to stick shift. what tranny can i use

Axle/Gears: 3.43

Might want to run and hide, you might catch some good flak for this! Their has got to be a million auto-manual sap threads here, just search it.

This question has been beaten to death!

Some of the common ones are a t56 but with some work anything can be made to fit.
