quick lockup converter switch question

sorry i know this is probably brought up all the time but i just read the article and i need to splice into the wires in the back of the aldl that is no problem. my question is on the tech article it says run one wire from pin a to one side of the switch and pin f to the other side.... so i dont need to ground the switch or run an inline fuse at all? if not thats great. i need an answer asap so i can wire this baby up real quick.

well it probably would be wise to use a fuse. Its cheap insurance against an electrical fire!

The circuit is already protected by the "gauges" fuse.
