Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Yes it will damage stuff. Eventually it will destroy the extension housing, if you let it go.
It's extremely easy to change out. If you take it out and hand it to a machine shop or a trans shop, it shouldn't cost more than about $20-25 to pay them to do it. If you have or can "rent" a bushing installer (I'm not sure whether VatoZone and those type places have those or not) then you can do it yourself. The bushing itself should cost less than $5.
Not to be the "signature police" or anything; but the LG4 is NOT the "HO" motor. It's the lowest output of any of the V8s available in these cars. The actual HO motor was the L69. It would be a good idea to remove that from your car description. You may find that some people might be a bit ..... offended ..... by your misuse of the "HO" designation, as if it was just a buzzword or something.
