Making the 10 bolt slightly better...

Well I managed to rebuild a 350 which is a fairly decent combo. However I am fairly concerned about the fragility of the drivetrain. Specifically the rear end and trans. I know I am just going to replace the trans with either a TKO setup or just rebuild with a g-force kit. Regardless I am fine with that, however I am fairly concerned with the rear comming apart due to the tiny gear size. I honestly don't plan on abusing the car due to me getting so many tickets in the last few years, however I do want to every now and then punch it from a roll. I know there is the differential cover from someone here I saw (ta performance?) which will add strength to it. Is there any other solution? Aftermarket axels? Stronger gears? This is a fairly mild engine combo but I don't need my car comming part on me as it is my daily driver college car and I cant rally money that quickly if it goes down. And for right now swapping rears is not an option.

i've rattled off my list a few times recently;

AL support girdle, this is the biggest thing. I used summit. Jegs has one too, also TA performance. TA performance also has a stud kit for the main caps, cheaper if you buy the girdle too.

a solid pinion spacer - from ratech, 4111 is the p/n. Best strength/$ you will find.

weld your axles tubes all around. This, along with a zytanium cross shaft, are more feel good than actually doing anything. But they're cheap, easy, and zytanium sounds REALLY cool.

you can get stronger axles for sure. superior gear comes to mind, IIRC they harden their shafts after machining. very good. part # EVO1101 or something...?

better posi unit. Or beefier. A new Auburn or Eaton would work well.

stronger gears, made by strange or anyone would be better than stock.

obviously new bearings and seals during the teardown.

I didn't upgrade the posi, gears, or axles, and i'm content.
