slight problem with 700r4

Car: 1989 iroc z

Engine: 305 tpi

Transmission: 700r4

slight problem with 700r4

i got a 89 iroc z and during normal driving the trans shifts into every gear too soon. shifts perfect into gear just to soon. the converter is locking up at 35mph

could this be a tv cable in need of adjustment or replaced?

Yes, it could need adjusting

Engine: 5.7 TPI

Transmission: 700R4

Axle/Gears: 4.88
