Speedo cable replacement

I removed cruise control out of my 82 TA. I purchased a new speedo cable and wanted to know if I can do the install myself without taking it to a transmission shop? Can it be done with jackstands? Any tips on the installation? Is it very time consuming? I have a 200c 3-speed auto.

hey there, its very simple to do,

hardest part is reaching up back behind the instrument cluster to release the cable end there, my 82 TA was a 200C car too, now is TH350 6" tail that i pulled from a '77 G-20 van

good luck
