T-5 Speedo Gears?

Anyone have any part #'S or good sources for drive and driven gears for the T-5 non world class with the VSS instead of a cable.????
Trying to get finishing touches on car. Have a good VSS but seems like gears are not meshing with eachother therefore not turning VSS when driven. Showing 0mph at all speeds on speedo and in ECM datalogs.

How have you confirmed the sensor is good? I'd try unbolting the sensor with the gear, spin it as fast as you can imagine and see if anything changes. You could probably check voltage on it, but I'm not sure. Have you looked at the gears to verify that they are worn and not meshing properly?

I rebuilt the entire trans, however being as it is an Ebay special who knows what the parts are from. I have pulled the sensor and fitted the gears alone with out the sensor and they do mesh just fine, I spun the sensor with a drill and it puts out AC voltage, in fact if you spin it by hand you can even get it to register a slight AC voltage it seems to put out a pulse four times a rev so that seems about right. I put it all back together and jacked up the rear of the car and spun the rear wheels and at the buffer connection still get the pulsing AC voltage, so up to the buffer all is well, from that point on, all in unwell. Is there a way to verify the Buffer module? I have it wired via chevy thunder website. I need to get this figured out soon to get this beast on the road. Any 80's speed buffer "buffs" out there?????

My speedometer stopped working one time. So I changed the speed sensor and it didn't fix it, then I went to the junkyard and pulled a VSS buffer box out of a 6cly firebird, plugged it in, and my speedo worked again. the buffer box went bad very quikly, no warning, like a coil.

I did alittle work a few months ago with the buffer box. I looked up all the spec sheets of the parts and drew out a schematic of the circuit in order to figure out the pinouts. I figured it all out; when I converted from TBI to TPI I successfully bypassed the bufferbox.

The way I verified my buffer box was to get one from the junkyard for $5 and see if that one worked in my car.
