Changing Fluid/Filter
IM in the middle of changing my fluid and filter but the crossmember is in the way for the rest of the pan bolts, do you usually need to remove the crossmember to take the pan off?

yes, otherwise the distributor will hit the fire wall (V8). I changed mine without removing the xmember, takes a little thinking to get it back on sometimes

ive never put a jack under it, i just let the six bolts hold it up, my distributor doesnt hit either, but now that i cut the crossmember a little, dont have to worry about supporting it
