chattering noise?

Engine: 305 TBI
Transmission: Stock / Automatic
Axle/Gears: Stock / Peg Leg
chattering noise?
I have a 91 rs with 305 tbi and everytime i put it into drive or reverse there is a chattering noise comming from near the tranny area but the noise goes away when i start to drive ?? need all the help can get
