Speedo still not working right after T5 swap
Okay, as a lot of you know, back around the beginning of April, I swapped out my 700R4 for a T5 in my V6 bird. However, since then, my speedo has been reading high. My speedo reads about 72-73 at 60, and the odometer reacts accordingly, which is NOT a good thing. I went inside the tailshaft housing on the T5 over the weekend, and I verified that I have the right speedo gears installed. I have a 7-tooth, purple drive gear, and a 19-tooth, white driven gear on my D9E vehicle speed sensor. I have also pulled the gears from the auto trans, and they have the same gear ratio, IIRC it something like 2.5:1 driven:drive, but I can't quite recall. Before the swap, my speedo read correctly, and the factory wiring has not been altered in any way, shape, or form, except to leave the auto trans' TCC connector unplugged because the T5 doesn't have a torque convertor clutch, obviously. Is it my VSS that is screwed up, or am I going to have to get my speedo recalibrated? I have not changed the rearend, which, according to the axle code, is a 3.42 open, and the T5 came from a 1985 bird with the same setup. WTF is up with my speedo? Any input will be greatly appreciated.
BTW, to anyone reading this that needs a 7-tooth speedo drive gear for a T5, let me know. I have a brand-new spare, part number 14071731, that has been removed from the factory packaging, but will be put back in if someone needs it.

With all of the gear heads we have in here, nobody knows what I need to do about my speedo gearing?

It sounds to me like you have a partial open or short somewhere in your wiring. The computer isnt getting the correct signal from your VSS, even though your speedo gears are right.
