Sensor issue with Swapping a 4th Gen Rear into an '83

I just picked up a 10 bolt 3.42 Posi from a 1997 Trans Am.
Planning to install it in my 1983 Z-28.
There is a sensor on top of the pumpkin. VSS? Traction Control? ABS?
I'd like to know if it's going to cause me problems if the sensor is not used.
I'm only worried about the function of the rearend, brakes and that the Posi will function as it should.

Any help/info is greatly appreciated.

It's probably ABS - my 2000 LS1 rear end had it when I swapped. Won't bother anything, just don't connect it to anything - everything else will function normally.
