4l60e torque converter problems

I have a 4l60e transmission mated up to my LT1. The torque converter doesn't lock up. I checked wiring, everything seemed ok. I got the diagnostic codes, there was only a code 97 (vss output circuit). My speedometer doesn't work either, and I believe that is related to my torque converter problem as well, because they both operate based on the vss. I don't have a p/n switch hooked up, does that have anything to do with my vss not working properly?

I took a multimeter and have gotten the following measurements. Plug D pin 11 (the wire that locks up the converter) shows OL ohms and 12V when I'm going slow, which is supposed to happen, and when I'm going highway speeds and it's supposed to be locking up I'm reading 8 Mega ohms and .6V. I am supposed to have 0 ohms, but I don't and I know for a fact that the converter isn't locked. What is the problem here?

You didnt mention the VSS problem in your other thread. no VSS signal = no speedo reading=no TCC lockup because it will only lock once the PCM sees a speed over 45 MPH. Your VSS is pirobably bad, or wired wrong.

I installed a new VSS sensor and I still have the same problems. I'll have to check it out more, because I'm totally stumped.

I got a scan from TTS datamaster, but I don't know how to read it. If someone would be willing to take a look at it for me, that would be great.
