Hi my buddy recently purchased a 86 iroc , he is gutting it to make it a race car for his wife, any way it had a after market 350 in it when he pulle dthe motor he noticed the converter on th etrannyt was blue, we are thinking its a BM converter since they use blue. now i cant find much as far as numbers on it. so i want to know if i can identify it by the few numbers i found on it or by its looks. my 91 RS is also a 700r4 and io want to use it in it. if it is a BM will it still lock up like factory converters do?
and on a side note i got the torque converter and a set of hooker headers and edelbrock 3 inch exhuast system for 50 bucks. So any tips on this converter?
