I have an 87 camaro with a 700r4 and I am putting a TH350 with a 6inch tail housing in it. The transmission mount will not hook up with the crossmember, it is off by about 3/4inch. Do I need a crossmember from a v-6 that mounts mounts in the other set of holes? Or is the transmission mount wrong? I tried a 82 th200 mount and it is off by about 3/4 inch. The origional 87 mount is way off. Any suggestions?

have you worked out the torque arm yet? might want to look at the B&M kit for th700r4 to th350.

 

I already have the Hurst kit.
