Help?700R to B&M 350 conversion kit who has done this
I used a B&M conversion kit what i was needing to know is what's the deal with the torque arm rubber.my factory stuff doesn't line up and it say in the directions to order a part from GM and use that but it looks like the same thing I already have.it is a two peice rubber mount andthe rubber is on one bracket and the bracket is welded to another bracket.both are this way.tech line told me I had to drill out teh spot welds and use just the rubber and do away with the spot welded peice.if I do away with the spot welded peice what will hold the other side on?I'm I looking at this wrong?if I order the GM part it says will it all work?like I said I know it says to order another part but the part it is telling me to order looks like what I have in my hand.just the pics screwed up?

conversion
Hey man, I'd check another dealer, I just did the conversion last week. The 700R4 outer bracket will not work, you'll have to find the other one, I believe that they are the ones on the 200 transmissions. you get the rubber for the inside of the mount from the piece that bolts directly to the tailshaft of the 700. The kit comes with bolts to attatch the rubber piece to the new inner mount. Hope that this helps. let me know if you have any more questions.
