alright guys, i recently did an engine swap to a 400 small block with an old holley 780cfm carb, i went and bought the two adapter brackets for the tv cable the one that bolts to the carb ear to hold the throttle and tv, and the one that bolts onto the throttle mechanism itself to readjust the position of the tv cable correctly, well for some reason my tv cable is a good inch longer than this position, and the cable is adjusted all the way back. i even tried turning the relocator around so that the thing to hold the tv is facing inward toward the carb and it's actually close to where i'd think the right position would be but the cable is getting caught on all the levers and crap, someone please help me, it might just be a stupid problem, i'm hoping, and then you guys can flame me for being a retard

and i did search and haven't found a similar problem, thanks
