Engine: L98 V8 - 350
Transmission: TH-700-R4
Axle/Gears: 3.23
Converter question

i know nothing about Converters.. so i need someone to help me. i got a stock tranny, but this winter il be getting my 350 to about 300-350 hp. and im not done there. i want about 400 out of it. so i got a question for you guys. whats a good converter for me. il be getting the 700 done up, and i want to keep the 700 because i want to the OD. i was looking at B&M because i herd tehy were really good... any advice on waht to use? i think maybe the B&M hotshot 2000 or 3000. anywho thats waht i was looking at, any advice is welcome

oh, and i would like to know waht a full ock up is. i think it when it fully locks up etc... if thats the case i would want one of those

no B&M. Minimal I would lool at a TCI. Get above that and you can start looking at Hughs and Yanks. Top of the line would be a Vigilante.

I second his advice. Stay away from B&M. Heard lots of bad stories from people that bought those. The lock up feature is needed for your trans to go into overdrive, so you'll definitely want to get one with the lock up. Continental, Edge, and Hughes all have pretty decent converters as well.
