Big problem with Strange TKO slip yoke on Spohn driveshaft.

I got a Spohn driveshaft to replace my crap out of balance factory unit but Im having serious issues with the Strange slip yoke. It wont slip on the output shaft! Basically, once its engaged on the splines, it gets locked onto the output shaft and wont budge an inch. The original Spicer slip yoke fits with very little effort. Has anyone had any luck with using these Strange slip yokes, or am I the first one to find out that they dont work? How can I fix this? Have them use my Spicer slip yoke instead of the Strange unit?

I hear that this hasnt been an issue yet and Im an isolated case. Has anyone used one of these and had any luck with it? Is it really just me???

To me it seems like theyre machining them without any consideration for geometric tolerances and needed working clearance. Just taking the dimensions for the output shaft and making a negative of it in the slip yoke. One thing is for sure, this will be the last time I use aftermarket parts in a swap. Every part has been a mini-disaster. All factory from here on in with my cars...

dimented, I'll tell you if I have an issue as I'm doing the exact thing this weekend. I have an Extreme Duty from Spohn, TKO600, and Strange F-bod 12 Bolt.

Dimented, chalk that up to (2) people now who have this issue. I bought the extreme duty TKO600 driveshaft from spohn with the strange slip yoke. Mine goes on about an inch if that and won't go no more. Even with a little love with a rubber mallet. Not smacking it but a couple of bumps to see if it was just stubborn. I plan on calling Steve Monday to see how to fix this. PM me on what your approach is / was to fixing this with him. My opinion is I bought a driveshaft for 450+ dollars according to the application I have and adverstised and it clearly doesn't fit.

They cut the wrong profile in the slip yoke. Instead of the proper trapazoidal profile, the grooves are triangular. I let Steve know and Im going to send some pics to him later showing the problem.

Dimented, good idea with the pics. I haven't called Steve yet (will on Monday). I'll post my pics (1 of slip yoke shape & 1 of output shaft shape) so people can see the issue. I can only hope Steve is willing to help with little or no charge to you and I.
