ok guy i know this has been asked manny time i cant finde whee it at on here so im going to ask agean. im dropping a 350 turbo long tail shaft into my 84 trans am what all do i need to make sure this bolts up and that my drive shaft will fit like it should im new to all of tihs so any help would be good

I have been reading your posts and all of the problems that you have encountered.

My advice would be to buy an late model vortech engine and transmission from the junkyard to install in your car. I think a 2 wheel drive truck would work.

Pull the fuel injection off the junkyard motor, put a vortech intake, your existing carb and non computer distributor in on the junkyard engine and drive on.

You are most likely able to buy both a running 350 and trans for what its is going to cost you to fix the former owners mistakes.

already bought a 350 and a 350 turbo i just need to know what all i haft to buy and do to make sure my trans will work and all

Transmission: TH400 with brake, 8" PTC converter
Axle/Gears: moser 9" 4.11
if it's the 9" tailshaft TH350 then the driveshaft will bolt up. You will need the B&M TH350 swap kit to mount the trans mount and torque arm mount.
