find a 4th gen rear with disc brakes and your all done. Just install it. You will only need to buy new ebrake cables. Thats all I had to do. Im tossing my 4th gen rear in the back yard shortly asnd going back to 3rd gen rear.

going back to the thrid gen? why? are they the same width? I found a 4th gen rear, posi, with disc, and 3.42's locally...but my thridgen is a drum car, so guess I'll need to convert and get the prop. valve?

the 4th gen rear is just about 4" wider. your stock wheels are gonna stick out. I am switching back to 3rd gen rear so I can get new wheels with a deeper lip to them.

aaahhhh, well it already has aftermarket wheels, and 4" out would look like crap...so looks like I also have a lead on another rear...hey man, appreciate it!
