Switch to ST10 from T5 in 87 GTA

Ok people, I searched but couldn't get the right thread. I have an 87 305/T5 road racer that won the Nationals this year, but is getting upgraded to a ZZ4/RichmondT10, Currie 9" rear powertrain. I need info on what configuration is the best for my bellhousing, clutch, flywheel and starter as well as any crossmember problems.

I have an old manual Z bar Corvette aluminum bell, the original hydraulic clutch 305 bellhousing/flywheel, a flywheel that was used with this trans and engine in an ASC (NASA) stock car with the ZZ4 with one of those concentric Quartermaster inside-bellhousing clutch release mechanisms, and the used original raced Quartermaster clutch.

My intent is to use as much of the 87 bellhousing/hydraulic clutch release mechanism and then get another Quartermaster clutch to keep things simple. I have been told that the trans crossmember must be modified or some aftermarket item purchased. As usual I'm on a strict budget and would like to do as much of the mods as possible myself.

Help! Anybody done this already?

I found the Spohn toque arm and crossmember here http://tpiparts.net/inc/sdetail/2675 and would like to adapt my parts to accomplish this. Has anybody done this with a Currie (Ford 9") rear end? Or is the Spohn the only aftermarket solution? Thanks for any reply . . .
