my car is worse than a woman... pisses me off at least once a month last month i blew the tranny now this...

just did a turbo 350 swap under my TA been driving fine the whole time.. been in there under a month.. but drove great... today i drove it about ahalf houur away maybe 45 minutes.... towards the end of the trip something banged real hard under my car and i look to find out that my torque arm fell out of the 2 bushings... how you ask.. because the outer torque arm bushing decided to grow legs and walk off to god knows where... but i still have the bracket makes alot of sense right....


ANy idea why that might of happened and any idea of how to prevent it from happening again once i get it fixed?????

 

Was it an Edelbrock torque? I heard they have issues.

Maybe its time to buy your car a drink and take her out to somplace nice for a heart to heart.........

 

sounds like a plan..... should i go for a beer 87 oct. an old bottle of whiskey 89 oct. or to please her a very old fine wine 93 oct. ????

 

Cars ALWAYS hate on owners that don't tighten the hardware right.

 

i hear yeh on that lol... the thing is that the outer bushing bracket is still there... its just that the bushing isnt there..
