There are a couple of 94-96 wrecked chevy pick up trucks with good transmissions on it, what year would you guys recommend to pull off and put it on my IROC?

 

you might get lucky and find a non-electronic tranny in one of the '94s, but for the most part chevy had electronically controlled trannys by '94. any of the 2wd versions would fit, but you need some way to control it since the iroc's ecm has no way to do so.

I know TCI and I am sure several other companies make a stand alone control module to retrofit older cars with the electronicly controlled trans into a non computer controlled car.
