tranny issues..

Alright well i have a rebuilt tranny in my truck with only about 400 miles on it. I have sent it back once already and they said they fixed it.. then sent it back only to have the same issue. What is happening is when in overdrive the tranny slips like crazy and heats up real bad. But i can run around town all day at keep temps areound 140. I do not get what it going on. The converter is locking up. I also noticed that I can not manually put the tranny in first gear. But it will go into it from drive or overdrive. Also when in overdrive I do not think there is any fluid pressure in the pressure port. Because my gauge does not read hot temps until i downshift..like when getting on a off ramp from the freeway. Any ideas?? I have a second tranny in the garage. But to me it does not seem like a selinoid issue.. I am so lost please help.. I need this thing back on the road. I do not have a scanner for the tranny but i have no check engine lights on.. This is on my 94 chev.. 4l60e
