installin boost valves + servos

installing .500 mega boost valve and low reverse boost valve and billet intermidate and overdrive servos...they say i dont have to drop the trans just the pan for the valves...in there instructions it shows the a picture of the pump assembly and thats where the boost valves are to go, ive never taken a trans apart but isnt the pump in the trans and not accessable without ripping the trans apart? any help or instructions in the installation of the valves and servos would be appreciated. thanks

Neither of these parts are hard to replace, just take your time doing it.

The instuctions I had for the servo I believe said to leave the pin in place, but even with pushing the trans over as far as possible I did not have enough clearance to get the servo over the top of the pin, so I believe I removed it first.

The boost valve is located in the pump right at the front of the pan area. If your instructions have a picture you will recognize it when you see it. You will need a long thin nosed internal snap ring pliers since the snap ring sits pretty far in the bore.
